The ASAA Board Wishes you Happy Holidays

We look forward to seeing you at the 41st Annual Carousel Charity Horse Show, March 15th through 18th at WestWorld in Scottsdale. We are excited to celebrate the American Spirit and honor our war veterans. Join us for a meet and greet with Indy car driver Robby Unser on Saturday. Watch the website for other exciting events. Our judges are Clark Clouse and Karen Homer-Brown. The horses will show in the Equidome and Ring 3, and Rings 4 and 6 will be warm up rings. As our show exits, WestWorld will begin construction on the long-awaited expansion of the Equidome. Books will be mailed the first week of January.

Terry Konkle Makes News.

Terry Konkle is well known to most of us in the Horse industry. First as an accomplished trainer then by his trusted horse transportation business, Lightstar Horse Transportation, made news this week on Feb 6th when he unveiled his newly designed state of the art horse van. The trailer designed by Terry Konkle and manufactured by Kentucky Trailer INC. of Louisville KY, was the center of attention at the National Horse Carrier Association's convention in Orlando FL. All were very impressed. Kentucky Trailers manufacture trailers for N.A.S.A. to transport sensitive electronic equipment for the space program. This same technology was incorporated into this new horse van making for the most comfortable ride for the horses. The van is stunningly beautiful, finished completely in stainless steel this shiny van gets lots of attention on the road.
Terry has hauled thousands of horses in every possible situation and knew what was needed to outfit this van to be the safest and most reliable user friendly van in history.
